I was fat, 250ish pounds. This was me. I bought this. I finished a 70.3 I finished an Ironman If I can do it, you can. Find something you like to do and do it; often. [...] I love to travel. I love seeing new places, exploring and trying out local favourites. Last year when I went to Knoxville I did a bit of a Triple D’s tour including a stop at Blue Ash Chili and a stop on the Bourbon Trail. Well the pre-race diet was not optimal I am still [...] I have a bucket list and it includes some endurance events. Last year I was able to cross Ironman off that list and this year I had planned on crossing ultra marathon off that list by running the Sulphur Springs 50 Mile Trail Race. Also on that list is to qualify for the 70.3 World [...] I am famous! Well this isn’t the first time my face has been plastered on the Internet but it is, by far, the coolest place! This New Year’s Day I was able to do two things that I was never able to do growing up in Winnipeg on New Year’s Day… Run outdoors in shorts and a t-shirt Swim in a lake We woke up this morning at it was [...] I got an email the other day from a friend on the West Coast of Canada who I got to work with a few times over the last few years at Microsoft. He asked what it was like working there and I responded. You may or may not know that I worked for Microsoft [...] …but don’t let what you don’t have stop you from doing what you love to do! This past weekend was the 2010 24 Hour Summer Solstice mountain bike race. This was the race that started it all for me with the Ride For Rob. This year we were back with Rob and Rich both riding [...] |
